The Harvest staff had a nice time with their families over the holidays but we sure hit the ground running with many projects since getting back to work. We have been holding meeting upon meeting to chart out what 2013 might look like. We will be working on a two-pronged approach: our annual Southern California Harvest at Angel Stadium, August 23-25 and Harvest America streaming live from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on September 29.

One of the current projects I am working on is exploring the possibility of a Harvest America Truck Tour. It would be a full graphic tractor trailer with a theater inside to show people what the Harvest America opportunity is all about. We would schedule stops in many of America’s cities, recruiting church and individual involvement. Some of the places it may be seen are festivals, conferences, large churches, and any Christian events where it can tell the story.

We have been considering a theme for this year and are thinking of something like “Get Back to Church” as a slogan. What better way to encourage people to return to church or be introduced to church than to invite them to a fun evening of evangelism and Christian music? Once again Harvest America is coming to a church near you!
