Can God Use a Video Screen?

Mark Finnigan

God used a donkey to bring a word to Balaam (Numbers 22:28). God used another donkey to bring The Word to Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1-7).

2012 has come to an end, and what a year it has been for Harvest Crusades, as we endeavored by God’s leading to launch Harvest America.

What was Harvest America all about? It was an opportunity to take a platform of evangelism from one of our stadium events to churches, bookstores, movie theaters, and homes all across our nation simultaneously.

Were we crazy for thinking this would work? Were we crazy to think anyone would come out to hear a presentation of the gospel on a screen? Our initial hopes were that 300 host sites would participate, but God had a different plan. In the ends, some 2,400 host locations joined us for Harvest America, with more than 302,000 people attending. Even more exciting, we saw more than 15,000 people respond to the invitation!

If God can use a donkey, God can use a screen.
And if God can use a donkey, He can use you and me.

So, are we planning to do Harvest America again in 2013? Yes we are!

How can God use you to play a part in what He wants to do in 2013? Here are two ways:

  1. Mike Baker says:

Of course the Lord can use a video screen! The Internet and new media is the new American/Roman roadway system. It’s the first century church all over again!

We need to be on it, more than any time in American and world history! :-D
