To perish means to spend eternity separated from God in Hell.

The last thing that God who loves you wants is for you to spend eternity there.

John 3:17

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

1. Admit you are a sinner.

The Bible says, "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

2. Recognize Jesus died for your sin.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

3. Repent of your sin.

To repent means to change your direction. "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation" (2 Cor. 7:10).

4. Receive Jesus Christ into your life.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12)

5. Do it publicly.

Everyone Jesus called He called openly and publically. And He's saying the same to you right now: "Follow me!"

6. Do it now.

You may never have another chance. "Behold, now is the accepted time; today is the day of salvation" (2 Cor. 6:2).
To believe means to "adhere to, commit to, have faith in, rely upon, and trust in."
